The milk is the stronger one and has physical filters zinc oxide plus titanium dioxide and a number of chemical filters, hence lasts longer and is a stronger sunscreen for UVA and UVB. But again, I don’t notice a cast on me typically
I asked my mom about it once and she said she couldn’t notice anything on me so that’s good. If it does give me a cast it’s very minimal, almost like a tone up effect. If I rub it in it’ll give me it, but if I pat it in it wont. My skin tone is around Fenty 385 and I find the Milk has no whitecast on me, but it depends on how I use it.
I’ve tested the water resistant abilities of both and they both work really well with Milk having a bit more resistance (as expected). They are both sweat and water resistant, though I believe the milk is advertised as being for “intense” heat/sun/water exposure while gel is I guess for “regular” exposure (their words, not mine). It has Tinosorb S Aqua, which is a great UVA1 filter, as well as it being friction-resistant to prevent uneven fading of sunscreen throughout the day (from touching your face, etc). It’s formula is made to protect better than the gel so it’s not too surprising. I have and love both 😆 In terms of better protection I’d probably give it to the milk.
